Why slog along on a treadmill when your indoor workout can help you get stronger, faster and fitter?
Treadmills are so handy when you need to stay close to home, protected from the elements or out of traffic. And they are easier on your joints than hard surfaces like roads are. But, let’s face it, we all feel sometimes that slogging through the miles on the treadmill can be boring. That does not have to be the case. I’ve developed a treadmill workout that combines speed work and hill work, building your core strength and stamina and leaving you – after 3.8 miles in 37 minutes – feeling sweaty but accomplished.
